It's the day of the European Elections and the polls are open. Are you rushing out to vote?

With a rather daunting 757 candidates to choose from, representing between them 39 parties, it would be totally understandable if you were a bit put off.

So, out of this plethora of nominees hoping to become Britain’s 73 MEPs, who do you pick?

We've highlighted some of the more loopy controversial parties you could vote for, which may make the selection process easier.

Meanwhile, as Britian heads to the polls, predictions – based on a poll of 6,124 adults over the last two days by YouGov for The Sun – show that Farage's Ukip will gain most votes, while Labour is projected to come second with 26%, the Tories third with 22% of the vote, followed by the Greens on 10% and the Lib Dems with a dismal 9%.
