A woman has been charged with murder after a body with stab wounds was found inside a house in Northumberland.

Tina Casey, 42, from Holywell was found dead in her home by officers from Northumbria Police at noon on Monday.

Heather Emmonds, 57, of Seaton Delaval, has been charged with murder and will appear before South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on Friday.

A post-mortem examination has already revealed Ms Casey died from multiple stab wounds.
