Prince George is set to be baptised tomorrow, in the first baptism of an eventual heir to the throne in 31 years.

So, to mark the joyous family affair HuffPost UK looked at the royal christenings through the ages.

From William's own christening, when Princess Diana tried to keep him calm with the tip of her finger, to the Queen's, with her parents the Duke and Duchess of York.
