She recently cancelled her UK engagements so she could go out partying in New York spend more time with her family in New York but we can confirm that Rihanna is back in Blighty (yay!) ahead of her appearance at Radio 1's Hackney Weekender this errrm, weekend.
RiRi was spotted leaving London's Corinthia hotel yesterday in a rather fetching (i.e. hideous) pair of tiger print shorts. Can someone please inform her that a can of Stella has to be superglued to your hand in order to really rock that look?
Oh well, we guess even fashion icons have their off days.
The singer took to Twitter to announce her arrival in the UK to her followers, saying: "I'm in LONDON bitchesssss... I didn't wanna leave NY! I kept missing my flights hehehe."
Yeah, RiRi, we know.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is said to be keen to attend next weekend's BET Awards so she can catch her ex, Chris Brown, performing.
A friend of the star told HollywoodLife.com: “RiRi wants to see Chris perform badly at BET. She wants to show her support in person but doesn’t want all the press and stuff.”
And luckily for Chris, his arch enemy Drake won't be attending, which should save the organisers a small fortune on replacing any broken glasses.
“Drake will not be at the BET awards. He’s on tour,” his rep told HollywoodLife.com.
