Gun Porn Draws Thousands To Las Vegas To Fetishise Big Weapons

Some 60,000 Americans reacted Barack Obama’s December proposals to tighten up existing gun-ownership regulations following a spate of mass shootings by flocking to Las Vegas this week to buy more guns.

Despite suffering from the second highest murder rate in the OECD (behind Mexico) thanks to an estimated 300 million firearms in circulation, the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show at the Sands Expo and Convention Center proved a huge success, with more than 1,600 firearms companies from across the globe showing their wares to an eager crowd.

A fetish for guns is a phenomenon particular to the US, with its roots stretching back to the foundation of the Republic. Here are 33 images that suggest the pornography isn’t going away anytime soon…
