Some are crouched around an ancient TV set while war rages around them, some are in the most dangerous places on Earth, and some are settled on luxury settees, but they are all watching the same thing.
This is how the world watched the opener of the FIFA World Cup 2014. They range from Syrian militants in Aleppo put down their guns, inmates of the Asuncion Psychiatric Hospital in Paraguay, and children in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
