A bomber's wheel was lodged in the elevator shaft(06 of12)
The building opened for business just days later(07 of12)
The fire it caused was extinguished in just 40 minutes(08 of12)
Witnesses said they 'heard an horrendous noise'(09 of12)
Wreckage was also found on 34th Street below(10 of12)
