Over the next few months, thousands of extra visitors from around the world will tread London's streets in search of Jubilee or Olympic thrills - but how much of the city will they really see?

This poem by Cambridge University student George the Poet is about the forgotten corners of the capital, away from the Strand and the palace and Westminster Bridge and into the impoverished outer boroughs.

It explores what for many remains London's defining characteristic - the way in which obscene wealth and poverty rest just around the street from one another.

George the Poet's delivery - simultaneously passionate and calm - is matched by director Rob Ryan's equally assured camerawork.

It's a timely piece, worth watching as we get swept up in the fever surrounding this summer's events, when the eyes of the world will be on London.
