Liam Gallagher 'Not Shy' About Turning 40, Holds Massive London Party At Whisky Mist

Liam Gallagher Turns 40 In Style With A Star-Studded 'Tear-Up'

Turning 40 doesn't mean Liam Gallagher is going to slow down any time soon, and he proved it by throwing a star-studded birthday bash on Friday night.

Still buzzing from his appearance at the Olympics Closing Ceremony, the Beady Eye singer decided to make it a night to remember for everyone invited by hiring out exclusive London nightclub Whisky Mist to mark his big day.

His wife Nicole Appleton was on hand to help with the arrangements and Liam invited some of the Manchester City players down to the capital to help get the party started.

A source told The Sun: "Liam isn't shy about hitting the big 4-0. He's got all his friends and family down for a tear-up.

"He's had a brilliant week over in Madrid doing some business with Pretty Green and had a belter of a night out. He's starting a new decade in his life with a bang."

But the singer managed to make sure the bar tab didn't get too extravagant by enlisting the help of a high-end vodka brand to sponsor the shindig.

Whether or not the family gathering included his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel remains to be seen.

After years of bickering, the pair broke up the Brit pop band in 2009, with Liam taking the rest of the musicians to form Beady Eye and Noel deciding to go it alone for solo success as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
