Lindasy Lohan 'Back On Set' After Crash

Actress Lindsay Lohan is back at work on the set of new TV movie 'Liz & Dick' after smashing up her Porsche in a freeway accident in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Mean Girls star was released from hospital on Friday afternoon and she headed straight for the set of the film.

A statement from her publicist reads: "Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set. She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution.

"She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident."

Lohan's Porsche is believed to have been written off in the collision

Reports suggest her sportscar was totalled in the collision with a lorry on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lohan's assistant, who was a passenger in the car, was left bloodied and bruised.

Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis said there was no sign Lohan was driving while impaired and that his agency would continue to investigate who was at fault in the wreck. The truck's driver was uninjured and that driver also showed no signs of driving under the influence, Lewis said.

"We're treating this as a regular accident," he added.
