Vets have dressed a pair of kittens in unusual outfits in a bid to stop them suckling each other in their sleep.George and Elton were put into babies' socks to stop the habit which was making them sore.The pair were just a few weeks old and barely alive when they were found abandoned in a shed in Osterley, west London on August 1.

Today, residents and locals of the former athletes’ village - East Village, have gone bananas for the return of the silverback gorilla statue that became the athletes’ favourite selfie sidekick at London 2012. The gorilla was a well-loved attraction during London 2012, featuring in photos with Olympians from around the globe including Tom Daley, Chris Mears and Maria Sharapova. In between training and competing, the famous athletes monkeyed around with the gorilla in dangerous poses including the GB diving team who launched themselves off its shoulders and Australian diver, Chris Mears ‘planking’ off the top of its head.
