The best pictures of the week are chosen by YOU voting on our interactive slideshow.

This week on our picture desk we have witnessed some truly emotional and heartbreaking news images.

British Soldier Lee Rigby was brutally murdered in Woolwich and a devastating tornado ripped through the heart of Moore in Oklahoma killing 24 residents.

On the lighter side of things, Madonna shocked us with her outfit at the Billboard Awards, David Beckham could not contain his tears as he played his last match in Paris before his retirement and Kim Kardashian paraded her baby bumping on holiday.

And there's our cute animals, we saw a licking Lemur, a meerkat in a wellie and a clapping turtle - all in our Pictures of the Week.

Happy voting and we will announce the winner on Monday morning.

ABBOTSBURY, UNITED KINGDOM - MAY 23: Two recently hatched cygnets sit with their mother in a nest at Abbotsbury Swannery on May 23, 2013 near Weymouth, England. This year the arrival of the cygnets at the only publically accessible colony of nesting mute swans in the world, has been later than usual due to the colder than average start to the year. However, the arrival of the cygnets is traditionally seen as the start of summer and local traditions claim the Benedictine Monks who owned the Dorset swannery between 1000 AD and the 1540s believed the first cygnet signaled the season's first day. Abbotsbury Swannery's mute swans - up to 1,000 in total - are all free flying, and are not kept in cages. (Photo by Matt Cardy/Getty Images) (credit:Getty Images)
