One of two panda cubs, formerly known Panda A, is shown at Zoo Atlanta on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 in Atlanta. The panda cub received the official name of Mei Lun today. Zoo officials said Wednesday the pandas will be called Mei Lun (may loon) and Mei Huan (may hwaan), which originates from a Chinese idiom that means "something indescribably beautiful and magnificent." People voted on several possible names through the website for ABC's "Good Morning America." The cubs were born to 15-year-old Lun Lun, who was artificially inseminated in March. They are the fourth and fifth cubs born at the zoo to Lun Lun and her partner Yang Yang. The names were selected by staff at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China. Twit Twoo! These adorable pictures appear to show two owls in a romantic clinch but in actual fact is a mother owl feeding her baby. The pair of Little Owls, snapped by wildlife photographer Mark Bridger, live in an large oak tree on a small farm in Worcestershire. The wild birds have been captured sitting on a farm gate appearing to kiss but wildlife expert Mr Bridger believes the owl sat on the gate post is the mother feeding her fluffy owlet worms. The owlet - likely to be three to four weeks old in this picture, which was taken during the summer - is surprisingly bigger than its mum.

Outraged by all the attention Prince George has been grabbing recently, Family Guy’s scheming upper-class baby Stewie Griffin has stolen the limelight once more. To celebrate the release of Season 12 of the hit US animation on DVD, the creators of Family Guy have given their very unique take on the royal christening in an exclusive illustration. The formal royal portrait sees Stewie taking centre stage as usual, whilst Prince George is nowhere to be seen. It seems he has been replaced by Stewie in the child prodigy’s next step towards world domination. (credit:20th Century Fox)

It would appear that Beyonce still manages to look fabulous even after completing a 1,000ft freefall bungee style jump! According to reports the daredevil singer enjoyed the experience at the 1,076ft tall Skytower in Auckland so much that she performed not just one jump but two. Clad head-to-toe in a blue and yellow jumpsuit, the 32-year-old didn't pause as she threw herself off the tower and could be seen with a huge smile on her face both during and after the stunt. Meanwhile, with her hair falling loose around her face and a slick of red lippie in place the 32-year-old still managed to look absolutely gorgeous. A freefall jump is similar to a bungee jump but sees participants strapped around their torso rather than feet and jump from a height rather than diving headfirst.
