The Most Intimidating Poem in the World

The Most Intimidating Poem in the World
|

Yesterday in Westminster magistrates court another nine defendants from the mass arrest at Fortnum & Mason's a year ago were found guilty of intending to intimidate staff and customers, despite being described by Metropolitan Police officer Chief Inspector Clare Clark as "sensible" and "non-violent".

One of the defendants was the slam poet Danny Chivers who performed his poem Shop a Scrounger in the store during the occupation. This, it seems, was enough to convince the District Judge of his intent to intimidate staff and shoppers at the Queens grocers.

So here it is, a poem so intimidating the mere act of speaking it aloud will get you a criminal record.
