Love pizza? Love guns? Want to save money? You're in luck - for an American pizza parlour is offering a 15 per cent discount to gun owners.

Virginia's All Around Pizza and Deli is offering the money off incentive to any customer who flashes their piece or shows a concealed weapon permit.

Pensioner Thelma Lazernick was pictured brandishing a customer's Ruger Mini-14 .223 semi-automatic rifle on Monday, showing the promotion most certainly has legs.

Farr's Fresh, the store in South Odgen, Utah, initially held a "Second Amendment day" offering permit holders $1 off their purchase, Fox 13 News reported.

He said: "I thought it was a great idea and I was wondering why nobody here was doing it. It should be happening all around the country."

Brendan Kelly said: "It's part of our rights as Americans and everybody should be entitled to the option if they want to, so it's nice to have an incentive."

The right to bear arms is ensured by the U.S. Constitution, while concealed weapons permits are decided by individual states.
