Britain has been suffering 140mph high winds and 50ft-high waves as the Weather Bomb lashes the country.

It has also produced some pretty funny photos of people caught out by it.

Some look look like they're not wearing enough for the weather, others are trying to hold on to buildings and signs to avoid being blown over and one pays a heavy but predictable price for taking a selfie with a wave in the background.

Another is a dog, whose fur coat appears to be little defence against mother nature.
