'Baby Body Parts' Found In South London Park

The body parts of an infant are believed to have been found on Tooting Bec Common.

The park has been cordoned off and bins in the area have been sealed after police were called to the site early this morning, reported the Daily Telegraph.

The Met Police issued the following statement:

"We were called at about 8am to reports of body parts, believed to be of an infant child, found at a location in Dr Johnson Avenue.

"Officers from Wandsworth borough are on the scene and inquiries are continuing at this early stage."

No arrests have been made.
