Chevening House Estate, country house and official residence of the foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, has around 115 rooms. It's a truly awe-inspiring property, perfect for showing off Britain's power to visiting foreign leaders. Perhaps now, though, it's perfect for showing Britain's humanity.
