A gay beauty pageant turned ugly after two rival drag queens became involved in a violent brawl.

The newly-crowned Miss Gay San Juan 2013 was attacked by a runner up in an astonishingly brutal episode which was caught on film.

It is believed the row was sparked after judges in Tarapoto, Peru, mistakenly announced the wrong winner, Gay Star News revealed.
