Actor James Corden has married fiancée Julia Carey in a no expense spared, star studded ceremony in the countryside.

Fresh from his Broadway success the 34-year-old said his 'I do' yesterday at the 18-acre estate of Babington House, in Somerset.

He wed his beautiful bride - dressed in a Monique Lhuillier white lace gown - in an intimate ceremony of 60 guests in a private chapel within the estate's grounds.

The role of best man was claimed by close friend Ben Winston.

At the end of the ceremony Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody serenaded the newlyweds and their guests.

The couple could not have looked happier as they walking hand in hand - Corden in a smart suit by designer Spencer Hart - following the ceremony.

Later around 300 guests, including comics David Walliams, Michael McIntyre and Jimmy Carr, toasted the couple with champagne.

Other guests included his Gavin and Stacey co-star Ruth Jones, Doctor Who actor Matt Smith, singer Natalie Imbruglia, comedian Jon Bishop, and ex-England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.

A source close to the couple said: "It was a brilliant day, absolutely brilliant, and an incredibly beautiful day.

"The feeling of love towards the couple was overwhelming."

Entertainment was provided by the Rizzle Kicks and former Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles along with Greg James. The band members of One Direction were also in attendance.

Corden got engaged to the former TV producer in the Maldives on Christmas Day 2010. The couple have a son, Max, who is one.

On Friday the couple were themselves guests at another star studded wedding - that of X Factor host Dermot O'Leary - in the Kent countryside.

Corden, who stared in the critically-acclaimed One Man, Two Guvnors, arrived at the estate by helicopter for the three day celebration.
