Meet The Dancing On Ice 2020 Contestants Confirmed For New Series

ITV has now revealed all of the starwho will be taking to the ice in January.

The new series of Dancing On Ice might still be a long way off yet, but we now know all the stars who will be taking to the ice in the new year.

ITV has revealed all 12 celebrities on next year’s line-up, confirming their identities in a series of announcements over the past week.

Former TV presenter Michael Barrymore and Love Island finalist Maura Higgins were the first famous faces to be announced, with model Caprice later completing the line-up on Tuesday morning.

With the countdown to the new series now officially on, here’s an introduction to all of the skating stars...

Reality TV Repeat Offenders
Rylan Clark-Neal(01 of26)
Open Image Modal
While most people think Rylan rose to fame on The X Factor, a few fans will remember that he was actually a contestant on Signed By Katie Price first, having failed to land a spot in the regular Big Brother house years before.

Following his success in Celebrity Big Brother, he later replaced Emma Willis on spin-off show, Bit On The Side, and won praise for his performance in Celebrity Masterchef, though he was less successful when Bake Off came calling in 2019.

He also returned to reality TV as a candidate on the celebrity version of The Apprentice in 2019, going on to describe the experience as one of the worst of his life.

Gemma Collins(02 of26)

Since making her debut in the second series of TOWIE, The GC has made a string of eyebrow-raising appearances on reality TV.

Her stint on Splash! won her praise for her zero-f***s-given attitude to diving, although her brief spell in the I'm A Celebrity jungle was slightly less celebrated.

Celebrity Big Brother led to her becoming the queen of memes (or "memays" as she would say), after which she appeared on Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Masterchef and All Together Now.

You might also remember her headline-grabbing stint on Dancing On Ice, which included furious rows with judge Jason Gardiner, over-the-top outfits and a toe-curling fall on the ice.

Mark Wright(03 of26)

Another TOWIE star who has made the jump to other reality shows, Mark bid farewell to the docusoap to take part in I'm A Celebrity.

He also enjoyed success on Strictly Come Dancing and had his own ITV2 show, Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights (though he'd probably rather we didn't mention that one), before landing a job as host of Channel 5's The Bachelor reboot.

Courtney Act(04 of26)

While most came to know Courtney as a contestant on either RuPaul's Drag Race or Celebrity Big Brother, she was already famous in her native Australia as a contestant on Australian Idol.

After winning CBB, Courtney joined E! dating show The Bi Life as host, before going on to take part in the Australian version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars. She also took part in MTV series Single AF.

Kerry Katona(05 of26)

Ah, Kerry.

In addition to her varying success on I'm A Celebrity, Celebrity Big Brother, The Big Reunion and Dancing On Ice, the reality star has also had a string of fly-on-the-wall shows in her name, including – but not limited to – Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love, Kerry Katona: What's The Problem? and Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter.

In 2019, she returned to reality TV as a contestant on Celebs Go Dating, though she was ultimately unable to find a match.

Katie Hopkins(06 of26)

Long before she was the reigning queen of the unwanted political and social opinion piece, Katie Hopkins was famed for her reality TV appearances, starring in The Apprentice, Celebrity Four Weddings (yes, really!) and I'm A Celebrity, before going on to become a CBB finalist.

In fact, the only real difference between Katie and Kerry Katona in their reality TV histories is that Kerry actually won one of the shows she appeared on...

Jake Quickenden(07 of26)

Originally an aspiring singer, Jake appeared on not one but two series of The X Factor, before landing a place on I'm A Celebrity, making it all the way to the final but losing out on the jungle throne to Carl Fogarty.

Following this, he and his then-girlfriend appeared on the ITVBe series Seven Days With..., before he later took part in The Jump, sadly crashing out without a win once again.

The spell was finally broken for Jake in 2018, when he was crowned champion of Dancing On Ice, alongside his partner Vanessa Bauer.

Alison Hammond(08 of26)

The This Morning presenter and national treasure danced her way into our hearts on Strictly back in 2015, but that wasn't exactly her first crack at the reality TV whip.

In the past, she's starred in Celebrity Fit Club, Let's Sing And Dance For Comic Relief and Celebrity Coach Trip, having first landed in the public eye as a housemate on the third series of Big Brother, where she was shacked up with Jade Goody, Kate Lawler and Adele Roberts.

Roxanne Pallett(09 of26)

While still a cast member on Emmerdale, Roxanne appeared as a contestant on Soapstar Superstar, later competing in Dancing On Ice.

However, it was her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house that Roxanne is best remembered for, creating a national scandal when she accused housemate Ryan Thomas of punching her. She later conceded this was a "mistake" and an "overreaction", choosing to bow out of the spotlight after leaving the house.

Coinciding with her CBB stint were pre-recorded appearances on Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.

Kim Woodburn(10 of26)

The How Clean Is Your House? star was a late addition in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in 2017, but ended up being the talking point of the whole show thanks to her outrageous behaviour.

Her additional reality TV credits include I'm A Celebrity, where she finished in second place, Let's Dance For Comic Relief, Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Famous, Rich And Homeless, a show in which Kim once again made headlines thanks to her outbursts.

Joe McElderry(11 of26)

Joe's list of reality TV credits isn't actually that long, but he does get special credit for winning not one, not two, but three different reality shows.

After being chosen by the public as champion of both The X Factor and Popstar To Operastar, he later proved to be a dab-hand at winter sports on The Jump too.

With a hat-trick of reality wins, we can see why he'd choose to leave it there.

Katie Price(12 of26)

While she's been in the CBB house once and the I'm A Celebrity jungle twice, Katie's most successful reality appearances have been the innumerable fly-on-the-wall series she's starred in, both alone and with ex-husband Peter Andre. (credit:Karwai Tang via Getty Images)
Aston Merrygold(13 of26)
Open Image Modal
Rising to fame as a contestant on The X Factor, Aston returned to the reality TV sphere when his time in boyband JLS was over.

As well as serving as a judge on Sky's Got To Dance, Aston competed in Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls, but didn't last long before he decided to take himself off the show. He fared much better when he appeared on Strictly, until he was sent home in one of the show's most controversial ever eliminations.

Megan McKenna(14 of26)
Open Image Modal
It's tough to imagine that just a few years ago, even the most die-hard reality TV fans still hadn't heard of Megan McKenna.

She first appeared on Ex On The Beach in 2015, before making the jump to Celebrity Big Brother, which led to her becoming a full-time TOWIE cast member. Since then, she's also appeared on Celebs Go Dating and Celebs On The Farm.

What you mightn't know is that Megan also appeared on both The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent before shooting to fame.

Gary Busey(15 of26)
Open Image Modal
Gary Busey isn't going to let a little thing like the fact he has an actual Oscar(!!!) stand in his way of appearing on as many reality shows as possible.

After becoming the first and only American to ever win Celebrity Big Brother, he went on to appear on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, where he made... well... an impression. Let's just leave that there, yeah?

He also appeared in the celebrity version of The Apprentice, and Celebrity Rehab.

Gareth Gates(16 of26)

Having first won the nation's hearts as a singer on Pop Idol, Gareth has appeared on Dancing On Ice - and its follow-up All Stars special - as well as joining boyband 5th Story in the second series of The Big Reunion.

He started young, though, appearing as a contestant on Steps' talent show Steps To The Stars as a child.

Nikki Grahame(17 of26)
Open Image Modal
OK, she's only ever actually starred on Big Brother, but given that her reappearance on Big Brother: Timebomb in 2015 marked her fifth time in the house, we couldn't not include Nikki "Who IS She" Grahame on our list.

Her behaviour during her first stay in the BB house went on to earn her a short-lived spin-off show inspired by The Simple Life, called Princess Nikki, while she and former housemate Aisleyne also competed on Celebrity Coach Trip, but she was voted off for her tantrums.

Sinitta(18 of26)
Open Image Modal
Sinitta's reality TV background goes so much further than wearing a load of leaves in Simon Cowell's garden on The X Factor.

While she's hit up all the mainstream shows like Dancing On Ice, The Jump and I'm A Celebrity, Sinitta has also had her fingers in quite a few lesser-known reality pies.

Her appearance on Sky's short-lived Cirque De Celebrité is oft-overlooked, while in 2015, she learned to pole dance, as part of her stint on Get Your Act Together.

She then competed in Celebrity Masterchef, but was booted off after just one week, and Sing If You Can, though her appearance in this was hindered by a broken ankle.

Vanessa Feltz(19 of26)
Open Image Modal
Long before her short time on Strictly, Vanessa gave us one of the most talked-about Celebrity Big Brother moments ever, when she suffered something of a breakdown after just days in the house.

A decade later, she returned to the house for a spell in Ultimate Big Brother, alongside many other legendary housemates.

She also appeared in a celebrity version of Wife Swap, where she traded places with Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, a couple with plenty of their own reality TV appearances.

Rebecca Loos(20 of26)
Open Image Modal
Rebecca Loos' public profile has died down somewhat in recent years, but there was a time when a D-list reality show wasn't complete without her presence - and each appearance was more notorious than the last.

She famously got into a spat with Sharon Osbourne during X Factor: Battle Of The Stars, and we'll not even mention what she got up to with a pig on The Farm.

As well as Celebrity Love Island and Cirque De Celebrité, Rebecca's reality TV stints went international when she appeared on the Spanish version of Survivor.

Joey Essex(21 of26)

Joey's arrival in TOWIE is often credited with putting the ITV reality series on the map, and he's had plenty of luck elsewhere since bidding farewell to the series.

He threw on his Speedos when he took part in Splash! finished in fourth place in I'm A Celebrity after endearing the nation, and bettered even that when he surprised everyone by winning The Jump.

Following this, he went on the hunt for romance on Celebs Go Dating, and even landed his own stand-alone series Educating Joey Essex.

Lisa Scott-Lee(22 of26)
Open Image Modal
THAT FASCINATOR.

In non-fascinator news, Lisa Scott-Lee was one of the stars to take place in the ill-fated Sky series CelebAir, later lacing up her ice skates to appear in Dancing On Ice.

Her most notorious reality TV appearance, though, was in her own MTV series, Totally Scott-Lee' when she was filmed breaking down in tears when she learned her solo single had missed the top 20.

Lisa also appeared as a housemate in a fictional, borderline-dystopian, series of Celebrity Big Brother, in the final episode of Ricky Gervais' comedy, Extras.

Louie Spence(23 of26)
Open Image Modal
It may have been sneered at at the time, but the sleeper hit Pineapple Dance Studios helped breathe some new life into reality TV here in the UK, paving the way for docusoaps like The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea.

Since the show's end, Louie has competed in The Jump, Celebs On The Farm and Celebrity Big Brother, as well as landing a role as a judge for one series of Dancing On Ice.

Caitlyn Jenner(24 of26)

You've seen her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the spin-off, I Am Cait, but Caitlyn has also tried her hand at more challenging reality shows.

Before her transition, she competed in the US version of I'm A Celebrity, and the American equivalent of Dancing On Ice, Skating With Celebrities.

Vicky Pattison(25 of26)
Open Image Modal
Vicky's shocking behaviour with her fellow Geordie Shore cast members eventually landed her appearances on Ex On The Beach, as well as a reality show of her own, Judge Geordie.

However, it was when she made her late arrival in the I'm A Celebrity jungle that she won over the British public, turning things around for herself and carving a new career as a TV personality.

She later appeared as a contestant on the Australian version of the show, where she once again made it all the way to the end.

Calum Best(26 of26)
Open Image Modal
Calum has a number of strings to his reality TV bow, and frankly each of them is more obscure than the last.

You may well have seen him finish in third place in 2015's CBB final, returning to the house two years later, or his stint on Celebs Go Dating.

However, his appearances on Celebrity Love Island, Famously Single and his own show, Totally Calum Best, are a bit more obscure. And as for Celebrity Bainisteoir - we're still not exactly sure what that is...
