Ewan McGregor Blasts Certain 'Star Wars' Fans As 'Parasitical Lowlifes And F***ing W**kers'

'They're Parasitical Lowlifes And F***ing W**kers'

Ewan McGregor has slammed certain sections of 'Star Wars' fans, labeling them 'parasites' who just want his autograph to make some extra cash.

The 43-year-old, who starred in the trio of 'Star Wars' prequels, spoke out when he was asked if he has positive experiences with fans of the sci-fi films.

"They’re not fans - they’re parasitical lowlifes and f***ing w**kers.”

The Scottish star also admitted he has only watched 'The Phantom Menace' once so wasn't in a position to comment on the criticism that it is the worst film in the 'Star Wars' series.

“I watched it once, at the premiere, so I’m not in a good position to judge," he said. "They had a tall order, the three films I did.

"The fans waited so long and wanted to feel like they did when they watched the first film, but they were grown-ups by that time.

"I don’t mind the criticism. I’ve heard it to my face.”

People Who Have Never Seen 'Star Wars'

The "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars" films both have a rabid, nerdy-leaning fan base, but Harry Potter himself has never seen the original "Star Wars" films. "I know. Yeah, I know. It's really bad," Radcliffe told Moviefone in 2011. "I saw 'The Phantom Menace,' and everyone's like, 'You saw that one! You didn't see the originals?!' I know! I was ten! I didn't know any better!" Flockhart admitted in 2009 that she never saw her husband (then fiance) Harrison Ford play Han Solo in the original "Star Wars" movies. "I was never starstruck [by him]. I have not seen 'Star Wars,' isn't that amazing?" she said according to WENN. (credit:AP)
