Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally tied the knot, following a romance spanning almost a decade, beginning after they met on the set of their film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’.

  • A spokesperson for the couple confirmed on Thursday that they had said “I do” in the South of France, in what, frankly, sounds like a totally idyllic ceremony, with their kids all playing a role in the proceedings.

    The bride reportedly walked down the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax, while Zahara and Vivienne acted as flower-girls, and Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers. In other words, the Jolie-Pitt wedding sounds even more adorable that we’d imagined.

    However, while we might have been shocked to learn about Brad and Angelina successfully managing to keep schtum about their wedding, they aren’t the only famous couple to have married in secret.

    Just last month, ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini announced that she’d married French restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a private ceremony on the island of Mustique - and who could forget when the UK’s very own answer to Brad and Angelina - that’s Katie Price and Kieran Hayler - did the same thing in the Bahamas themselves?
