As if that wasn’t enough, ‘Ghost’ is now enjoying its second week in the UK number one spot, having beaten off stiff competition from the likes of Ed Sheeran and Australian boyband 5 Seconds Of Summer.

Ella's first brush with fame was on 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' in early 2012, where she sung 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' at Bianca Gascoigne's Christmas meal, which frankly sounds a lot better than a game of charades.

Ella was only 16 at the time of her 'X Factor' audition and nearly missed her audition in Manchester as it was scheduled for the same time as one of her GCSE exams. However, she still managed to get 7 GCSEs - good on you girl!

Ella worked with many famous producers on her debut album, 'Chapter One', including Eg White, Claude Kelly and Babyface. She also got the chance to write with fellow singer and one of her biggest inspirations, Emeli Sandé.

Henderson credits her Granddad for introducing her to musical influence, Ella Fitzgerald, and giving her the confidence to perform. She later dedicated the song she wrote for her 'X Factor' audition to him.

Despite only finishing sixth in the 2012 series of the show, Ella was greatly praised by all four judges during her time on the show. Dermot O'Leary even called her his favourite 'X Factor' contestant to date (we bet Wagner was furious...).

Ella is one of the only 'X Factor' acts to finish outside the top four and still manage to top the UK singles chart. The only other act to do this is - wait for it - Chico, who knocked the Queen of Pop, Madonna, off the number one spot when he released 'It's Chico Time' in 2006.
