“I had such a great time as a guest I just couldn't say no! I'm so excited and ready to let loose and discuss all the hot topics of the day with the lovely ‘Loose Women’.”

Sally Shelford, the editor of ‘Loose Women’, has gushed: “Nadiya not only won the Great British Bake Off crown, but the hearts of the nation. She impressed us all with her humility, grace and good humour when she came on Loose Women as a celebrity guest, and we can't wait to see her come back as a panelist.”

Possibly hinting at a permanent spot on the panel, she added: “We think she has all the ingredients of a great guest Loose Woman and we're sure our viewers will agree.”

Last year, Nadiya appeared on the daytime show as a guest, off the back of her ‘Bake Off’ victory, where she revealed that - despite her popularity with the British public - she’d had to get the police involved over racist abuse she’d been on the receiving end of.

She isn’t the only reality TV winner to have landed a guest spot on ‘Loose Women’, though, with ‘I’m A Celebrity’ champion Vicky Pattisonalso putting in repeated appearances on the panel.
