Rachel Riley Looks Unrecognisable Dressed As Cleopatra (And Obviously Isn't Afraid Of Snakes)

Ssssssssssexy.

We had to do a double take when these pics of Rachel Riley arrived in our inbox this morning.

The ‘Countdown’ star looks unrecognisable dressed as Cleopatra to launch Kellogg’s new Ancient Legends (see what they did there?) granolas, mueslis and cereals.

The maths whiz recreated the iconic look complete with black wig, thick black lashes and an array of dazzling gowns.

The 30-year-old even braved having a snake draped around her neck for the photoshoot - not that it bothered her.

“It was so much fun to become Cleopatra for the day,” Rachel said. “I grew up in a house with all kinds of reptiles, so snakes aren’t a problem for me and I actually really like handling them.”

The real Cleopatra died after being bitten by a deadly asp, but Rachel posed with a variety of non-venomous snakes for the shoot.

Kellogg’s spokeswoman Louise Thompson-Davies said: “Rachel handled the snakes with no fear like a true ancient legend. She looked stunning as our celebrity Cleopatra, and at first glance I must admit I didn’t recognise her.”
