Saturday

The Voice – BBC 1, 7pm

Now that the four teams are complete, it’s already time to give half of them the chop. Each coach will pick two of their acts to battle against each other in specially created boxing rings.

Don’t forget, The Voice is now aired on both weekend evenings, so be sure to tune in on Sunday at 7.30pm.

Britain’s Got Talent – ITV, 8.30pm

With its tail between its legs, BGT has shifted to a later time slot thus allowing its prime-time rival The Voice to reign supreme. For fans of both shows, this is great news as it allows you to watch both - some real talent at 7pm before switching over to Cowell’s circus at 8.30pm.

Just someone keep Walliams off the stage. Please.

Million Pound Drop – Channel 4, 9:45pm

Join Davina McCall for the last episode in the series, as she gives The IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd and his fiancée Dawn Porter the chance to win £1 million for charity.

Sunday

Robert Webb, Danny Baker and Fern Britton get the chance to consign their pet hates to Room 101. This is the first of eight extended versions of the comedy panel show.

Indian Ocean with Simon Reeve – BBC 2, 8pm

With such a self-explanatory title, we know what to expect from this series when we tune in: Simon Reeve traveling around the Indian Ocean.

But the first episode of this travel programme features more than just your average sandy beach shots – although there are plenty of them. A wrong turn takes Reeve into a South African drug den and a gun is waved around. (Read Simon Reeve's interview with HuffPostUK on Saturday morning)
