The pair both first found fame in previous series of ‘The Apprentice’, though it seems Lord Sugar is less than impressed with his former candidates, claiming that they “would go to the opening of an envelope if they got an invitation”.

She had previously defended herself on Twitter earlier in the week, claiming that Lord Sugar’s “ego” was to blame for his harsh assessment of herself and Katie.

Considering that Katie Hopkins will give her opinions on any subject going at the drop of a hat - whether anyone asks for it or not - it’s hardly surprising that she’s also said her piece in response to his comments in her latest column for The Sun.

“Please be reminded the only people allowed to be successful after The Apprentice are the ones who have gone into business with him. You know, that beautician woman called erm... and the inventor guy, what’s his face, and the other one... there was another one wasn’t there?”

The new series of ‘The Apprentice’ kicks off on BBC One this Tuesday night - get to know the 20 candidates hoping to bag a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar below...
