Michelle Keegan may be known for her glamorous looks now, but she’s admitted that there was a time when she wasn’t so red carpet ready.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress - whose final scenes as Tina McIntyre aired last month, following the character’s murder - has revealed that a mishap at her first ever awards ceremony meant she ruined her designer dress.

She told Digital Spy: “The first awards I went to with 'Corrie', I dropped chips and mayonnaise down the front of my dress - it was a Versace dress! I don't think anybody's worn that since.”
Chips and mayonnaise, eh? The ‘British Soap Awards’ really go all out with their catering.

Of course, since those glory days of accidentally accessorising with condiments and carbohydrates, Michelle has gone on to become one of the best-dressed stars in Britain.
In fact, she was recently a judge on Lorraine Kelly’s High Street Fashion Awards, and this week launched her first ever fashion line for Lipsy.
At her collection’s London launch she showed off not one but two stylish looks - and she even managed to go the whole night without spilling any food down her front. How far she’s come, eh?
Also in attendance was her fiancé Mark Wright, who Michelle said last month she was keen to start a family with in the future, claiming she wanted to have “loads of kids” with the former ‘TOWIE’ star.
