Mick Jagger Performs With Rolling Stones For First Time Since L'Wren Scott Death (PICS)

Mick Jagger has performed live with the Rolling Stones for the first time since the death of his long-term partner L’Wren Scott.

The band postponed their scheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand back in March, after it was discovered that L’Wren had committed suicide.

Mick, who had been in a relationship with fashion designer since 2001, issued a statement at the time saying he would “never forget” her, adding: “I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.”

Meanwhile, his bandmates expressed concern for their grieving frontman, claiming at the time that they were worried for his health.

However the rock star looked like he was more than ready to be back onstage with his bandmates on Monday night, where they performed to a crowd of 23,000 at Oslo’s Telenor Arena.

Mick gives it his all during the gig

Mick took to the stage to give a typically energetic and lively performance of the band’s biggest hits, wearing a flamboyant glittering jacket and skinny jeans tight enough to make even Russell Brand wince.

His bandmates, including Keith Richards and Charlie Watts, looked similarly happy to be back together for the first time since March, when the sad news first broke.

Mick poses in Oslo

Earlier in the day, Mick had delighted fans by posting an Instagram picture while taking in the sights around the Norwegian capital.

Posing in front of a fountain, he wrote: “Looking forward to the first show! Mick #StonesOslo”
