Nancy Dell'Olio's Paso Doble Fails To Impress

Nancy Dell'Olio spent rehearsals for Strictly Come Dancing this week locked in a pen with bulls to prepare herself for her paso doble.

But her courage failed to impress the judges as she performed as a human cape with dance partner Anton Du Beke.

TV viewers saw Anton closing the gate to the farm pen behind Nancy and telling her he wants her to "get the spirit of the dance". She replied: "I don't want to get the spirit of the dance."

It proved a bad omen as her performance landed her at the very bottom of the ladder with the judges giving her a total score of 18.

Dressed in a black lacy jump-suit Nancy could be clearly seen counting out loud as Anton flung her around the dance floor during their live televised performance.

Despite the unpolished look, judge Alesha Dixon loved it. "In this dance, you were bit of a rag doll, counting out loud and being thrown about like a rag doll by Anton. I loved it," she said.

Robbie Savage's thrusting pelvis and swishing golden locks in his highly energised performance with dance partner Ola Jordan to Otis Redding's Love Man received some tough criticism, with judge Craig Revel Horwood labelling it sloppy.

Even so, he appeared to have conquered his nerves after performing in front of 20,000 football fans with Ola as part of his preparation.

Chelsee Healey and Pasha Kovalev topped the leader board this week after a "first class" quickstep, according to Craig.

The 12 celebrities remaining will find out on Sunday if they get to continue the contest with next week promising a Halloween theme.
