As soon as the word ‘selfie’ sneaked its way into the dictionary at the end of last year, it became obvious that 2014 was going to be another year of self-snapping in celebville.

Who Was Voted 2014's Biggest Selfie Addict?

This year, more than ever, celebrities have been creative with their selfie-sharing, even going as far as using photos on Twitter and Instagram to make announcements.

Kelly Brook and David McIntoshposed for a selfie together to announce they were engaged, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took things one step further and broke the news of her secret wedding with a selfie, showing off her sparkling ring (and a questionable pair of mint shoes).

Of course, serial flesh-flashers like Nicki Minaj and ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ hunk Dan Osborne used selfies to show off their best assets, while his girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa displayed her baby bump for the first time in a selfie earlier this year.
