Actress Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital last night (22 September), after a fight broke out during an appearance on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’.

It's believed that Vicki wasn’t directly involved in the incident, but she was reportedly caught in the crossfire, when a bust-up broke out between past housemates Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Farrah Abraham.

Sources have claimed that after Farrah branded Aisleyne a “hag”, and she allegedly responded by throwing a glass at the ‘Teen Mom’-turned-pornstar.

Things quickly took a turn for the worse when, according to The Sun, a chair was then thrown, causing producers to briefly halt filming, putting up the ‘CBB’ logo while the scuffle was dealt with.

New evictees Jenna Jameson and Janice Dickinson were also present, though their involvement in the incident is not yet known.

When normal service resumed, Rylan Clark told viewers: “Unfortunately we did have to pop that [‘CBB’ eye] up there, due to a matter that happened. Unfortunately we have lost our panel for the evening but we are going to carry on because that’s what we do on this show.”

“Everyone was screaming and sobbing, and it was very shocking. Vicki, who hadn’t caused anything herself, was caught in the crossfire and ended up being glassed.”

Speaking shortly after the incident, Vicki - who appeared in the most recent series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, and is perhaps best known for her role in the sitcom ‘Allo Allo’ - assured her Twitter followers she was doing well.

She said, in the early hours of Wednesday morning: “Been checked over...going home now. Bloody hurt! But thank you for worrying, I'm OK...I think!”

Aisleyne has also vowed to set the record straight on her own Twitter page, insisting: “There seems to be a lot of misconstrued stories I will set the record straight I'm tired now.”

Addressing the incident, a spokesperson for Channel 5 said simply: “‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’ was interrupted this evening due to an incident on the set.”

The current series of ‘CBB’ has been among the most controversial ever, with several of the housemates receiving warnings from producers for their behaviour, and Tila Tequila being completely removed from the house less than 24 hours after her arrival.

After the relative snooze-fest of 'BB4', producers hoped to spice things up a year later and gave the housemates a taste of 'evil'.Of all the housemates in that year's series, Victor was undoubtedly the biggest baddie of the lot, delivering lengthy takedowns of his fellow contestants in the Diary Room, usually followed by "I've already got the sniffles" or "can we get some more milk please?" Every single week the crowds outside the 'BB' house can be heard chanting "get [whichever housemate is least popular that week] out", but Grace was the first contestant the public ever did this for, such was her unpopularity in the outside world thanks to her bitching about her fellow contestants. She'll always be remembered for making 'Big Brother' history when she threw water over Susie during her exit, delivering the parting line "oh shut up, Aisleyne, you moose" (credit:Gareth Cattermole via Getty Images)

Self-branded 'It Girl' Charley's bragging and argumentative nature - particularly when it came to rival housemate Channelle Hayes - made her extremely disliked by the public, who voted to evict her not once but twice. In fact, the pair's rivalry was so strong that when Channelle tried to make it as a singer and released 'I Want It', Charley released an answer track, 'I Want It More'. Makosi was at the centre of a number of schemes during her time in the 'BB' house, and viewers initially loved the ease with which she could manipulate her fellow housemates. However, her popularity took a nosedive when she revealed that she was worried she might be pregnant after a romp in the pool with Antony Hutton, with the crowds branding her a "liar", booing and heckling throughout her eviction interview. The original and still the best. Nick's 'live by the sword, die by the sword' attitude to nominations made him a figure of hate among the Great British Public, but by the time he reappeared for 'Ultimate Big Brother' it was clear he'd changed his ways. (credit:Ian Gavan via Getty Images)
