Dancing On Ice: Heidi Range, Sebastien Foucan Voted Off

Axed From The Ice

Sugababe Heidi Range and freerunning founder Sebastien Foucan have been voted off Dancing On Ice after losing a solo skate-off against skier Chemmy Alcott.

Heidi and Sebastian were voted off by head judge Robin Cousins after the three celebrities receiving the fewest public votes had to perform a solo routine lasting one minute and comprising 23 skills.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Ellison returned to the rink after kicking herself on the head with her ice skate and suffering a gash on her scalp during last weekend's show.

Sebastien broke down in tears after he forgot his choreography and was unable to finish his routine, while Heidi said her legs were "like jelly".

The freerunner was comforted by his partner Brianne Delcourt and he lay his head on her shoulder, initially unable to speak because of his disappointment.

Earlier in the night, the couple scored 22 as they danced to a fast track by The Prodigy.

Sebastien, who wore black leather trousers, said it was "definitely the hardest routine I've ever had" and judge Louie Spence told him he needed to "get over" his obsession with perfectionism.

Heidi found herself and her partner Andrei Lipanov dancing to one of her band's own songs as they moved around the rink to Push The Button. Wearing a red, sparkly cropped top and hotpants, Louie said to her: "You look absolutely stunning - what a figure."

The couple scored the lowest of the night though - 17.5 - with judge Katarina Witt commenting on how much she thought Heidi depended on her partner. She said: "I feel like you're really relying on the strength of Andrei."

Chemmy and her partner Sean Rice scored 22, with Chemmy gliding around the rink in a champagne coloured outfit. She said she found the routine "challenging", before adding: "I haven't jumped since I smashed my leg up."
