The BBC have teased Matt Willis' upcoming role in 'EastEnders', as the soap gears up for the return of Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

The McBusted singer is set to play Stacey's boyfriend Luke Riley in the BBC One soap, and his first scenes will see his character come face-to-face with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), as she tries to track down her cousin.

Matt Willis is set to star as Stacey Slater's boyfriend Luke Riley

Kat is shocked after seeing a fleeting glimpse of Stacey from a bus, thinking she is still in Mexico, having fled there three years ago after Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb).

After managing to find Stacey's flat, Kat meets Luke, who is looking after her daughter Lily, but where is Stacey?

Luke is described as "determined to build a secure life for him and his family", but things look set to go wrong for the couple, as Matt's role in the soap will only be brief due to his touring commitments with McBusted.
