The business entrepreneur and assistant on ‘The Apprentice’ has admitted she’s regularly offered TV work which she rejects, insisting she has “no interest” in being a celebrity.

Opening up to The Sunday Times, she explained: “I’ve been offered my own TV show and been asked to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, cooking shows, even ice-skating.

“But c'mon, what serious business person does that? I’m not a TV wannabe. I won’t be flogging you a keep-fit DVD this Christmas. Although I do ‘The Apprentice’, I have no interest in being a TV personality.”

This year's 'Strictly' line-up

The current series of ‘The Apprentice’ has repeatedly made headlines over the past couple of months, for the action both in and out of the boardroom.

So far, we’ve seen Scott Saunders become one of the elite few to walk away from the show, rather than being fired by Lord Sugar, as well as Selina Waterman-Smith hitting out at the series on a number of occasions.

After coming to blows with one of her fellow candidates, and suggesting the whole show was “fixed”, she’s since admitted she’d be keen to appear on the new series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, which kicks off next month.

Meanwhile, although Karren may not want to join in the “wannabes” on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, this year’s series is coming to an end this weekend, with either Jay McGuiness, Katie Derham, Georgia May Foote or Kellie Bright succeeding Caroline Flack, as the new ‘Strictly’ champion.
