From my years of crafting music, content and industry research, I sit here now, managed and signed to an independent label in London, with an incredibly loyal team, and a whole new genre created. I am 17-years-old, with the dream to hit the music industry globally, not locally.

Growing up for me was tough. It is tough for all teenagers in this day and age. I had to get the best out of my life, to benefit my future, my friends and my family. I was first spotted on Channel 5's documentary, Gangland, and although this was a massive opening to my life and exposure my music, it came with some damage. After the show, I founded myself getting arrested and sentenced to prison, which by far made me open my eyes to what I really needed to do in life.

I needed a release, an opportunity to show the world what us "street-teens" are really made of, and although, I had a good social following, I needed a push in the right direction. Of course, there are numerous stereotypes, racial slurs and risks that come with exposing your life to the public, but any risk was worth the discovery that has brought me here.

My mind is a gateway to creativity, I knew from a young age that discovering a new world was there, especially in the music industry. There is innovation in every space, from crafting produce, to building businesses and ideas, there is expansion in all industries, so I decided to make one.

I was brought up in Jamaica, Kingston, so the culture was in my blood since birth. I envied the differentiation in genres from the UK Grime scene to Jamaican bashment and dancehall, and felt, "I wonder what it may sound like merging the two?". Yes, some may say this is a disaster waiting to happen, but we found a new meaning of adventure, a craft that has never been discovered.

I took it upon myself to start creating content with a mix of the two, taking into considering the terminology, time signatures, melody, chord progressions, to even down to the tone of my voice when singing. Up to this day, I have had several successful singles, from one named "Tell A Paigon Try" hitting over 300k YouTube views in four weeks. This then started to not only gain a wider audience internationally, but generated interest from managers and labels.

Gaining international interest from millennials, and pushing creativity into a whole new era is the future, teenagers are the future of music. From understanding the current talent, to being professional technicians and engineers, we were born to breathe technology, which already puts us a step ahead.
