Angelina Jolie Wanted To Become A Funeral Director (VIDEO)

Angelina Jolie's Morbid Career Aspiration

Angelina Jolie has revealed how she once aspired to become a funeral director.

The 36-year-old mother-of-six is now an Oscar-winning actress who is about to release her directorial debut.

But in a special interview with US TV show 60 Minutes, she told how she once hoped to direct something very different.

Angelina explained: "It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral.

"How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn't work out that was going to be my path."

The Hollywood star is about to release In The Land Of Blood And Honey, a love story set in the Bosnian War in 1992, which she wrote herself.

Angelina said: "I prefer directing. I love having the spotlight on someone else. It's nice for all of that not to matter."

Though she added: "I still think it's crazy... I think I'd be terrible with a comedy.

"Everything was something to be careful about and sensitive. I am nervous that people are not going to understand it."
