British Fashion Awards 2014: Best And Worst Dressed, Featuring Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevingne And Harry Styles (PICS)

Who Were Best And Worst Dressed At The British Fashion Awards?
|

Some of the most stylish stars in all of Britain dusted off the best pieces in their wardrobe and descended on London on Monday night, for the annual British Fashion Awards.

The whole night read like a “who’s who?” of the British fashion world, with some of the biggest models and designers, from both the UK and abroad, showing up to the awards, including Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevingne and Naomi Campbell.

Fashion royalty

It was nice to see some of the showbiz men in attendance making a bit more of an effort than a simple tuxedo, with One Direction singer Harry Styles plumping for an opinion-splitting striped suit, while Henry Holland posed for photographers in a green coat with blue glittering detail.

Of course, other men on the guestlist took the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach, such as David Gandy, who showed up in a black tuxedo. Not terribly imaginative, admittedly, but we’re hardly going to complain about the sight of David in a suit, are we?

The boys made an effort too

It was great to see people taking risks, too, with Twiggy proving you’re never too old to push the fashion envelope by showing up in a suit, and Alexa Chung strutting her stuff on the red carpet, holding what appeared to be a Chinese takeaway as a handbag.

Rihanna also put in a rare public appearance (if you’re showing up to fashion awards, RiRi, then how are you going to get album number eight out by Christmas?! Don’t make us wait another year!), wearing a velvet coat and… well, some shoes. Simple yet effective.

Nice to see Alexa has brought a takeaway for everyone
