Film producer Jerry Bruckheimer posted the first image on his Twitter page on Monday night, showing Johnny in full Captain Jack attire, while being roped to the mast of a ship by two pirates.

Jerry treated ‘Pirates’ fans to the picture, alongside the message: “Captain Jack is back and we’re not letting him go.”

The forthcoming film, ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’, will act as the fifth instalment of the pirates franchise.

‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ will act as the follow-up to 2011’s ‘On Stranger Tides’, which stood as a separate film from the original trilogy.

However, the new film will see Orlando Bloom returning to the film series as Will Turner, for the first time since the third ‘Pirates’ film ‘At World’s End’ in 2007.

The film series is based on the popular ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ theme park ride, which can be found at Disneyland theme parks around the world.

Earlier this week, a full-length trailer for ‘Tomorrowland’ - another film based on a popular Disneyland attraction - was unveiled, while Guillermo del Toro is also set to direct a new film based around ‘The Haunted Mansion’.

‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ is currently slated for release on 7 July, 2017.
