The Love Island contestants are set to face the ultimate test of their relationships in the coming days as Casa Amor makes a dramatic return.
Bosses confirmed rumours the second villa twist was being brought back on the official ITV2 Twitter account on Wednesday night.
While the twist set to unfold over the coming days, here’s what we’re able to tell you about this year’s game-changer...
What is Casa Amor and how does it work?
Casa Amor was first introduced during the third series of Love Island back in 2017, and was brought back again in 2018.
The twist sees the show make use of a second villa – named Casa Amor, obviously – with the existing boys and girls split up, and new Islanders introduced who attempt to turn the heads of the original contestants.
In the past two series, the boys woken up in the middle of the night and secretly move into Casa Amor, before a new bunch of girls join them.
And while the girls remain in the original villa, new boys are also sent in to keep them entertained.
Previous series have seen the twist last three to four days, before there is a dramatic recoupling ceremony.
This gives all Islanders the chance to form new couples, or remain in their original pairing – but anyone left single at the end of it is at risk of being dumped from the Island.
Where is Casa Amor?
The second villa is actually only a stone’s throw from the main one, which is located in the hills of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar in Mallorca.
In fact, they are so close that sometimes contestants in the main villa have heard the other Islanders out in the Casa Amor garden.
Are there any changes this year?
It has been rumoured that in a change to the past two years, this time the girls will be moving to Casa Amor.
The rumoured stunt will see all the Islanders actually leave the villa, before the girls are whisked off to Casa Amor and the boys are then delivered back to the main house.
Who’s going in?
There are 12 new arrivals going into the villas to test the couples’ loyalties, whose arrival was teased at the end of Thursday night’s show.

What drama has unfolded in previous series?
Casa Amor has served up some of the most memorable – and indeed controversial – moments in Love Island history.
Back in series three, the main villa was sent a postcard that showed Kem Cetinay cracking on with Chyna Ellis behind Amber Davies’ back, which effectively ended their relationship, albeit temporarily.
Many complained the producers had caused her unnecessary emotional distress given there was nothing going on between them.
Last year also saw Josh Denzel and Kaz Crossley get close in Casa Amor while Georgia Steel was back in the main villa insisting he would stay “loyal” to her.
However, there were dramatic scenes at the recoupling when Josh walked back into the villa with Kaz, leaving Georgia with a face like absolute thunder.
