Love Island’s Amy Hart might still be nursing a broken heart after her split from Curtis Pritchard, but she now has a massive reason to smile.

The reality TV star has landed a spot on the Loose Women panel, after impressing as a guest earlier week.

Amy will appear as a guest panellist on next Wednesday’s episode of the ITV daytime chat show.

Speaking to The Sun, Amy said: “I’m so excited, I’ve been a fan of Loose Women since I was 12.

“It’s my birthday tomorrow so this is the best present ever. I can’t wait to see the ladies next Wednesday.”

Amy sat down with the Loose Women on Monday where she was interviewed about her decision to quit the ITV2 reality show following her split from Curtis.

She told Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and Brenda Edwards that she picked the best time to leave the villa, explaining: “I was like a little avocado. I had a very small window of opportunity to leave – avocados are only ripe for a very small time, aren’t they?

“If I’d left the week before, I’d have been leaving going, ‘I hope karma gets you in the end’. If I’d stayed, it would’ve just gone downhill.

“I was really strong, I sat by the pool, I just thought, ‘I don’t have to be here, I’m not gonna meet anyone else, he’s never gonna be happy whilst I’m here’. I know what he’s like, and he would not rub anything in my face.”

Following her exit last week, Amy claimed she had made the decision to leave the villa to protect her mental health

As well as a spot on the Loose Women panel, Amy has also been linked to the new series of E4′s Celebs Go Dating, which would certainly be one way to help her get over Curtis.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV, with Love Island continuing tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
