The Circle's Emma Willis Appears As You've Never Seen Her Before In New Trailer

The former Big Brother host is taking over from Maya Jama and Alice Levine.

Emma Willis has got a whole new look – well, actually she’s got several – in the first glimpse of her in action as the new host of The Circle

The former Big Brother presenter goes through a series of transformations in a new trailer for the Channel 4 reality show, which is returning for a second series.

Given The Circle allows contestants to adopt any characteristics they like in order to be voted the most popular, Emma appears in various different guises in the minute-long ad.

In a number of other press shots, we see a ‘more mature’ grey-haired Emma; a ‘daring’ tattooed Emma; and a bearded male Emma.

Emma’s installation as host in place of Maya Jama and Alice Levine will see her take charge of changes to the format, which were announced on Friday.

She will front a new weekly live show, which will give viewers at home the chance to influence the narrative in The Circle in different dramatic ways, via the show’s bespoke app.

The premise of the show sees individuals living in isolated flats, who interact with one another via a purpose-built social media platform called The Circle.

They don’t get to know each other face-to-face, meeting each other through the profiles they choose to share through The Circle and the information they release via chats.

Last year’s series was won by Alex Hobern, who walked away with £75,000 after masquerading as “Kate”, tricking his competitors into believing he was actually a woman.

The Circle returns to Channel 4 this autumn.
