'X Factor' 2016: Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon 'Joins Judges Houses Line-Up'

She'll have completed a reality TV hatrick.

Alesha Dixon has long been linked with a spot on ‘The X Factor’, but it seems Simon Cowell has finally persauded her to join the show.

It has been reported the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge will help Louis Walsh out at Judges Houses on the new series of the ITV talent show.

Alesha will reportedly assist Louis in choosing which acts will make it through to the live shows, and will jet out to Ibiza this weekend to film the scenes.

Alesha joined the ‘BGT’ judging line-up in 2012 alongside David Walliams, when Simon stole her from rival show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

It has been claimed many times since that the former Misteeq singer could make the jump from ‘BGT’ over to the ‘X Factor’ panel, but has always said she would rather remain where she is.

She said on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ earlier this year: “I’d be lying if I didn’t say that in the past there’s been times when I’ve considered if that would be good for me, just because I’m such a huge music fan.

“But I have to say the vibe of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ is second to none… There’s just this joy about the show and I wouldn’t want to lose that.”

‘The X Factor’ returns to ITV next Saturday (27 August), with Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger joining Simon Cowell on the panel, following the departures of Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw

However, it was previously claimed Cheryl would reunite with Simon at his Judges Houses.
