‘X Factor’ hopefuls Andrea Faustini and Ben Haenow have been put on a diet ahead of the show’s final, according to reports.

Since reaching the live shows, the two singers have been enjoying lives of luxury in the swanky ‘X Factor’ house, though now, bosses have reportedly decided that they need to shift some weight.

Andrea and Ben have been ordered to shift the weight

A source tells The Sun: “Andrea and Ben have put on weight and it’s becoming a problem.

"Andrea’s always been a bit cuddly, but if he wants to be a serious pop star he needs to be in better shape.”

"Ben is not exactly fat, but he’s getting a bit of a belly and it’s becoming harder and harder for the stylists to hide it,” the source continues. “We have spoken to them both and said they need to seriously think about whether they want a career in pop music.

“They need to cut out biscuits and get to the gym. That isn’t a suggestion, that’s an order from the very top.”

During Sunday’s show, Stereo Kicks left the competition and one more act will leave this week, ahead of the live final on Saturday 13 December.

While Andrea was previously the favourite to win, Ben and Fleur East have fared better so far and managed to avoid the bottom two completely.

Lauren Platt, the fourth semi-finalist, made it through this week, despite being plagued by illness.
