Band Aid 30: One Direction, Ellie Goulding And Bono Lead Stars Arriving To Record New Charity Single (PICS)

Music’s biggest stars have arrived at a Notting Hill recording studio, to create the Band Aid 30 single, which will raise funds to stop the spread of Ebola.

One Direction were among the first stars to arrive, led by Harry Styles who appeared first, and other arrivals so far include Ellie Goulding and Bono.

Rita Ora has also been spotted making her way into the studio, after ‘The Voice’ bosses managed to move their filming schedule so that she could record a line for the track.

Shortly after 1D and Rita arrived, Bob Geldof - who is masterminding the project with Midge Ure - made his way into the building with Sinead O’Connor.

Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Elbow’s Guy Garvey and Jessie Ware have also arrived, along with a few surprise stars including Seal.

Bastille’s Dan has also been spotted and at the press conference to announce the project, Bob revealed that the musician had missed out on two US arena dates, in favour of appearing on the track.

Paloma Faith, Olly Murs and Emeli Sande are already on site, while other acts expected to arrive include Adele and Sam Smith.

A number of versions of the track will be available, including remixes by Disclosure and Underworld.

The single is set for release online on Monday 17 November, while physical copies - including single artwork by Tracey Emin - will be in stores 3 weeks later. The song will not be available to stream on Spotify until January.
