‘Celebrity Big Brother’: ‘Hijack Selfie’ Man Ben Innes ‘Being Lined Up’ For New Series

It's certainly an unexpected choice.

The next series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will air this summer, and it looks like bosses at Channel 5 are being more than a little lenient when it comes to working out who counts as a celeb.

New reports claim that Ben Innes, who is better known as ‘Hijack selfie man’, is in the running for a place in the Borehamwood bungalow.

Ben hit headlines in early April when an EgyptAir plane he was travelling on was hijacked.

While the plane and its passengers were on the tarmac at Larnaca airport, as negotiations took place, Ben made the controversial decision to ask the hijacker, who was wearing what was believed to be a bomb vest, for a picture.

Now, he could be returning to the spotlight by appearing on the show, according to the Mirror.

Quite frankly, we’re still not over the most recent series of ‘CBB’, which provided plenty of drama thanks to housemates including Tiffany Pollard, Angie Bowie, Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis.
