It’s finally time for ‘Coronation Street’ fans to say goodbye to Deirdre Barlow, following the death of actress Anne Kirkbride back in January.

In the months since Anne’s death, her family have worked with the soap’s bosses to ensure the iconic Deirdre is given a suitable send-off.

In the years since her 1973 arrival in Weatherfield, Deirdre has become one of soapland’s best-known and most-loved figures, and the nation has been captivated by a number of storylines, including her huge wedding - that rivalled Prince Charles and Diana Spencer’s - to the Free The Weatherfield One campaign.

As the Street says goodbye, we’re celebrating Deirdre’s finest moments.
