Harry Potter Fans, Want to Get Married at Hogwarts?

Of course, this is where the mandatory question must be asked: is this a dream come true, or an obsession taken too far?

While I can already hear the cynics proclaiming it exploitation and encouraging delusions, I for one am absolutely on Team Dream Come True (I would be, using the "Team" term in such a fangirlish way). In fact, if this does become a reality, I may have to go find myself a Potter-loving man to marry!

I suppose I would never again be able to judge Star Wars fans who get married dressed like Han and Leia, or the infamous Shrek couple. But I wouldn't care.

For those who were lucky enough and had the right age to be a part of the adventure, Harry Potter was not just a book series. It was a community, a philosophy and an expression of hope and everyday magic. And what is more magical than love? Even in the books, love is used as the ultimate force.

So having weddings available in the Great Hall would not just be another way for WB to cash in on fan hype. It would be a way for the franchise to once again bring magic to life and prove that love conquers all.

If this does indeed become a reality, would you consider having your wedding at the Leavesden Studios?
