How wonderful to see two old English thespians hitting the ale in New York City. Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart, who have been friends for years, are due to star on Broadway together at the end of Novermber in both Harold Pinter's No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot.

According to several Reddit users, the thirsty took place in McSorley's Old Ale House in the East Village on Wednesday.
